Abstract: Method comprising: establishing a first link with a first external electronic device, based on the Bluetooth network; receiving information associated with a second link created between the first external electronic device and a second external electronic device, from the first external electronic device; attempting to receive a first data packet transmitted from the second external electronic device by monitoring the second link based at least partially on the information associated with the second link; identifying whether a response message is received from the first external electronic device; transmitting, to the second external electronic device, a response message indicating “ACK” for the first data packet, when the first data packet is normally received, and when the response message is received from the first external electronic device; and withholding a response message for reception of the first data packet, when the first data packet is not normally received.

Abstract: A method and a device is provided for switching a source device through sharing of Bluetooth connection information, the device comprising a communication module, a memory, and a processor operatively connected to the communication module or the memory, wherein the processor is configured to connect with an external device via the communication module through a first network, broadcast device information of the external device through a second network, transmit connection information associated with the first external device to an external electronic device responsive to a connection request received from the external device for a connection with the first external device through the second network, release a connection between the first network and the first external device, without processing a reconnection message received from the external device.

Abstract: According to certain embodiments, an electronic device comprises a first communication circuit configured to support a first communication protocol; a display; and at least one processor operatively connected to the first communication circuit and the display, wherein the at least one processor is configured to: configure a cluster with at least one external electronic based on the first communication protocol device through the first communication circuit, receive through the first communication circuit, from the at least one external electronic device, information identifying at least one short-range communication device connected to the at least one external electronic device via a second communication protocol, and control the display to display at least one indicator of the at least one short-range communication device based on the information received from the at least one external electronic device.
