An electronic device includes a cover glass, a touch sensor disposed under the cover glass and sensing proximity of or contact by an external object, a touch integrated circuit (IC) electrically connected to the touch sensor, a fingerprint sensor disposed under the cover glass adjacent to the touch sensor, including an active area for sensing a biometric pattern of the external object and an inactive area surrounding a periphery of the active area, a fingerprint IC electrically connected to the fingerprint sensor, and a processor electrically connected to the touch IC and the fingerprint IC. The processor is configured, if an input by the external object is sensed by both the touch sensor and the fingerprint sensor, to calculate coordinates of the input based on at least part of data sensed by the touch sensor and data sensed by the fingerprint sensor.
Abstract:
There are provided an image processing apparatus for registering medical images having different modalities and a method for controlling the same. A reference location is designated in advance, a pre-designated cross-sectional image of an object is used, a corresponding location is extracted, and then image registration is performed. The image processing apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment includes a communication unit configured to receive a first medical image and a second medical image having a different modality from the first medical image of an object from a first medical apparatus and a second medical apparatus, respectively; and an image processing unit configured to extract a pre-designated cross-sectional image from the second medical image, extract a location corresponding to a reference location of the object from the extracted cross-sectional image, and perform registration of the second medical image and the first medical image corresponding to the extracted cross-sectional image.

Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for combining three-dimensional ultrasound images are provide. The method involves obtaining a plurality of three-dimensional ultrasound image data that corresponds to a Region of Interest (ROI); detecting one or more landmarks, using a parameter for detection; outputting the detection result and receiving a response from a user; registering each of one or more selected landmarks as link information according to a received response from the user; and generating a combined three-dimensional ultrasound image by combining at least two pieces of three-dimensional ultrasound image data using at least one of the one or more selected landmarks registered as the link information, wherein the at least two pieces of three-dimensional ultrasound image data commonly comprise the at least one of the one or more selected landmarks.
