Abstract: An electronic device and an information providing method in the electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a display, a communication circuit, and at least one processor that is operatively or electrically connected to the display and the communication circuit, wherein the at least one processor is configured to transmit first text, among the text displayed on the display, to a first external electronic device through the communication circuit, receive, from the external electronic device, connection information to a second external electronic device corresponding to the first text through the communication circuit, and display, on the display, the received connection information to the second external electronic device.
