Abstract:
A method of calculating an angular position of a peripheral device with respect to an electronic apparatus, a peripheral device, and an electronic apparatus are provided. The method includes receiving sounds, by the peripheral device, from each of a pair of loudspeakers provided in the electronic apparatus; and calculating, by the peripheral device, an angular position of the peripheral device with respect to a predetermined direction, based on a time difference between respective points of time in receiving the sounds from each loudspeaker.
Abstract:
Provided are an electronic apparatus and a method for operating the electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus includes a power controller configured to control a supplying of power with respect to a plurality of optical fiber lines which are configured for facilitating a data transfer between the electronic apparatus and an external apparatus; and a processor configured to determine a data rate that corresponds to the data transfer between the electronic apparatus and the external apparatus, to determine a number of the optical fiber lines to be used for performing the data transfer based on the determined data rate, and to control the power controller to supply power to the determined number of the optical fiber lines.
Abstract:
An electronic apparatus for Wi-Fi Peer-to-Peer (P2P) communication and a method thereof is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a Wi-Fi module configured to perform Wi-Fi communication, and a controller configured to control the Wi-Fi module to sequentially select a plurality of channels, and then control the Wi-Fi module to perform a scan operation through each of the plurality of channels, if in response to a Wi-Fi P2P function is being executed. Further, while the scan operation is being performed, the controller controls the Wi-Fi module to determine a connection channel with an external device which will perform Wi-Fi P2P communication based on a number of probe response packets received through each of the plurality of channels.
