Abstract: An example wireless power transmission apparatus includes a plate; a first communication module configured to perform wireless communication with an electronic device positioned on the plate; a power transmitting coil configured to transmit wireless power to the electronic device; a driving circuit configured to apply a current to the power transmitting coil; and a processor electrically connected to the first communication module, and the driving circuit. The processor is configured to control the driving circuit to periodically transmit the wireless power through the power transmitting coil, control the first communication module to acquire control information stored in a second communication module of the electronic device for a first time period during which transmission of the wireless power is stopped, and control the driving circuit to adjust the wireless power based on the control information.

Abstract: An electronic device in accordance with one embodiment may include a load that receives power and performs an operation; and a power supply that supplies power to the load, the power supply including: a rectifier configured to rectify an input alternating current (AC) voltage; a converter including at least one first switching element and configured to convert the rectified input AC voltage into a direct current (DC) voltage; an inverter including a plurality of second switching elements and configured to convert the DC voltage into an AC voltage; a plurality of temperature sensors configured to detect the temperature of each of a plurality of switching elements including the at least one first switching element and the plurality of second switching elements; and a processor configured to determine whether a temperature failure occurs in the plurality of switching elements based on a temperature difference between the plurality of switching elements or a temperature variation amount of each of the plurality of switching elements and performs temperature protection control on the plurality of switching elements based on determining that the temperature failure occurs.

Abstract: A power supply device is provided. The power supply device includes a rectifier circuit for rectifying an inputted alternating current power supply, a capacitor circuit comprising a first and second capacitor which are connected in series, and smoothing the alternating current power supply rectified in the rectifier circuit, an inverter for converting the output power of the capacitor circuit to a preset power and outputting same, a switch for selectively connecting a middle node of the first capacitor and the second capacitor and an end of the alternating current power, a sensor for detecting a size of the alternating current power, and a controller which confirms a power mode of the alternating current power on the basis of an output value of the sensor, and which controls the switch so that the capacitor circuit multiplies and amplifies the selectively rectified alternating current power based on the confirmed power mode.
