    Abstract: A wireless power transmission apparatus for determining empty heating is provided. The wireless power transmission apparatus includes at least one processor configured to control a communication interface configured to communicate with a cooking appliance, wherein the communication interface is further configured to receive, from the cooking appliance, a temperature of a bottom surface of the cooking appliance and an internal temperature of the cooking appliance for a first time period during which a heating operation is performed and for a second time period following the first time period, during which the heating operation is stopped, and the at least one processor is further configured to stop the heating operation for the second time period, and determine whether the cooking appliance undergoes empty heating based on a relationship between the temperature of the bottom surface and the internal temperature for the second time period.

    Abstract: A wireless power transmission device is provided. The wireless power transmission device includes a wireless power transmitter configured to wirelessly transmit power to a cooking appliance, a communication interface configured to establish a wireless communication connection to the cooking appliance, memory storing one or more programs including instructions and transmission frequency information for each of a plurality of cooking appliances including a load, and one or more processors, wherein instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless power transmission device to control the communication interface to receive identification information related to a type of the cooking appliance, determine a limited frequency corresponding to the identification information, based on the transmission frequency information, and set an operation frequency range of first power being transmitted to the cooking appliance in a low-load state in which an operation of a main load of the cooking appliance is stopped, based on the limited frequency.

    Abstract: An example wireless power transmission apparatus includes a plate; a first communication module configured to perform wireless communication with an electronic device positioned on the plate; a power transmitting coil configured to transmit wireless power to the electronic device; a driving circuit configured to apply a current to the power transmitting coil; and a processor electrically connected to the first communication module, and the driving circuit.
