Abstract:
A memory device includes a substrate including active areas and isolation areas, trenches in the isolation areas, active patterns in the active areas, the active patterns protruding from the substrate, isolation layers filling the trenches, gate trenches crossing the active patterns and the isolation layers, and gate line stacks filling the gate trenches, a first width of the gate trench in the isolation layer being greater than a second width of the gate trench in the active pattern.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a refrigerator including a passage through which cool air flows from a freezing chamber to a refrigerating chamber, a passage opening and closing member for wholly or partially opening and closing the passage, a driving unit for driving the passage opening and closing member so that the passage opening and closing member can open and close the passage, and a control unit for comparing a set temperature of the refrigerating chamber with a measured temperature of the refrigerating chamber, and controlling an operation of the driving unit according to a comparison result. According to the refrigerator of the present invention, as the passage for supplying the cool air from the freezing chamber to the refrigerating chamber is wholly or partially openable and closable, the actual temperature of the refrigerating chamber can be precisely controlled into the preset temperature. Therefore, stored articles can be freshly maintained to improve users' satisfaction.
Abstract:
An operating method, a base station, and terminal of a cell of a first communication system for a handover between the first communication system and a second communication system are provided. The method includes, when a terminal initiates a handover between the first communication system and the second communication system, transmitting, by the base station, a message, requesting to measure a signal level of a downlink, to the terminal, when a signal level measured by the terminal falls below a preset threshold, requesting, by the base station, a handover to the second communication system over a core network, receiving, by the base station, a message, including radio channel parameters the that is required when the terminal accesses to the second communication system, from the second communication system, and forwarding, by the base station, the message, including the radio channel parameters of the second communication system, to the terminal.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for determining operation of location update in a broadband wireless communication system are provided. The apparatus includes a receiver, an interpreter, and a determiner. In an idle mode, the receiver receives a paging advertisement message from a Base Station (BS). The interpreter identifies paging group identification information included in the paging advertisement message. The determiner determines one of execution and non-execution of a location update process due to a change of a paging group if the paging group identification information is different from paging group identification information included in a previously received paging advertisement message.
