摘要: The present invention discloses methods and systems for providing UICC/eUICC related response information to information requests at a cellular router. The method includes receiving an information request from a wireless communication module, and determining whether a response to the information request is cached. When the response information is not cached, forwarding the information request to a massive SIM apparatus (MSA). MSA will then respond to the information request. A response based on the MSA's response will then be sent to the wireless communication module for the information request. When the response information is cached, retrieve the response information and send it to the wireless communication module.

摘要: Embodiments described herein relate generally to a communication between a user equipment (“UE”) and a plurality of evolved Node Bs (“eNBs”). A UE may be adapted to operate in a dual connected mode on respective wireless cells provided by first and second eNBs. The UE may be adapted to estimate respective power headroom (“PHR”) values associated with simultaneous operation on the first and second wireless cells. The UE may cause the first and second PHR estimates to be transmitted to both the first and second eNBs. The first and second eNBs may use these estimates to compute respective uplink transmission powers for the UE. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

摘要: Disclosed are techniques for using sounding reference signal (SRS) for positioning. In an aspect, a UE receives an SRS configuration, the SRS configuration defining one or more SRS resource sets, each SRS resource set comprising one or more SRS resources, and each SRS resource comprising one or more SRS ports, wherein at least one SRS port of at least one SRS resource of at least one SRS resource set defined in the SRS configuration is usable by the UE at least for positioning. The UE transmits a positioning SRS utilizing one or more positioning SRS ports, wherein the positioning SRS is transmitted in a positioning SRS pattern such that across N consecutive symbols, where N is greater than or equal to two, SRS resource elements (REs) to which the one or more positioning SRS ports are mapped are staggered in frequency and use each of the N consecutive symbols.

摘要: According to an embodiment, an electronic device may comprise memory and at least one processor, comprising processing circuitry. The memory may store at least one instruction that, when executed by at least one processor, individually and/or collectively, causes the electronic device to: perform a call service based on a first network communication corresponding to a first subscriber identification module (SIM) in a state in which a first portion of RF resources of the electronic device is allocated for the first network communication corresponding to the first SIM, and a second portion, at least partially different from the first portion, of the RF resources is allocated for a second network communication corresponding to a second SIM different from the first SIM; identify a service failure in the second network communication corresponding to the second SIM while performing the call service based on the first network communication based on the first SIM; based on the service failure, perform a scan for the second network communication corresponding to the second SIM one or more times; and perform at least one operation for restricting the scan for the second network communication based on a cell for the second network communication not being identified as a result of the scan one or more times.

For example, the described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) to predict a gain state for an initial acquisition procedure. For example, the UE may use a machine learning (ML) model to predict an initial gain state which is likely to result in a successful initial acquisition procedure (e.g., without adjusting the gain state and reattempting the initial acquisition procedure). The UE may input UE history data or crowdsourced data (e.g., from a local network or a cloud-based server) into the ML model to generate a predicted gain state which may be more likely to result in a successful initial acquisition (e.g., without reattempting the initial acquisition procedure). The UE may use the initial gain state generated by the ML model to attempt an initial acquisition procedure with a network entity.

Techniques described herein provide for a user equipment (UE) to share unused antennas dedicated or configured for a one radio access technology (RAT) for communications with a network entity of another RAT. The UE may communicate, via a first set of antennas using a first RAT. The UE may also communicate, via a second set of antennas, using a second RAT. To share the one or more antennas dedicated or configured for the second RAT, the UE may transmit, to the network entity of the first RAT, an indication of a capability to switch the second set of antennas from the second RAT to the first RAT. The UE may communicate with the network entity of the first RAT via the first set of antennas and via the second set of antennas.

The method includes availing the first data services from the second SIM that is registered with the first network, while engaging in the voice call on the first SIM.
