摘要： Disclosed are a display apparatus and a control method of the same. The display apparatus includes: a display unit, an image processing unit; an image receiving unit which receives an image from an image source; and a controller which controls the image processing unit to crop the image such that an aspect ratio of the received image becomes a preset reference aspect ratio and scale the cropped image in correspondence to a resolution of the display unit. With this configuration, an image with no distortion can be displayed.
