Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer system receives a request to render components of a webpage. In some embodiments, the computer system generates an API key, wherein the API key is used by the inline frame element to authenticate API requests to an API server. In some embodiments, the computer system receives, via the inline frame element, data corresponding to the one or more embedded UI elements from a resource associated with a third-party entity, wherein the inline frame element is a proxy between the platform and the API server. In some embodiments, the computer system renders the one or more embedded UI elements on the webpage.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer system receives a request to render components of a webpage. In some embodiments, in response to receiving the request, a platform of the webpage loads a script element that creates an inline frame element and receives a secret token. In some embodiments, the computer system authenticates an embedded session within the platform using the secret token and generates an API key, wherein the API key is used by the inline frame element to authenticate API requests to an API server. In some embodiments, the computer system receives, via the inline frame element, data corresponding to the one or more embedded UI elements from a resource associated with a third-party entity, wherein the inline frame element is a proxy between the platform and the API server. In some embodiments, the computer system renders the one or more embedded UI elements in a shadow document object model.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing a transaction request associated with a merchant platform system may include: receiving, at a commerce platform system, the transaction request; determining a plurality of account traits associated with the merchant platform system; detecting a first account trait from the plurality of account traits associated with the merchant platform system; in response to determining that the first account trait of the plurality of account traits comprises a first value, processing the transaction request to generate an approval status for the transaction request based on a risk value determined by the commerce platform system with respect to the transaction request; and in response to determining that the first account trait of the plurality of account traits comprises a second value, deferring a determination of the risk value for the transaction request to the merchant platform system.
