Abstract: Secure sharing of a document on a co-browse session is implemented by causing a JavaScript implemented document viewer to create HTML5 description of a rendered view of a document's content, and transmitting the HTML5 description of the rendered view of the document content as a DOM elements on the co-browse session. The rendered view of the document is overlayed on the web page being co-browsed, which enables the participants to the co-browse session to collaboratively view the rendered view of the document. However, since the document itself only resides in the visitor's browser, the document itself is not transmitted on the co-browse session. Media URLs can also be shared, and the participants' views of the audio/video media is synchronized by causing the video to play locally at each participant but synchronized with the visitor. Live video of the participants to the co-browse session is also implemented.

Abstract: Interactive natural language processing (NLP) results may be generated that allow a user to interact with the NLP results but do so in an offline manner so that the documents being processed need not be stored online. To provide interactive NLP results, event handlers may be attached to elements of the NLP results. A user may then select a word or phrase of the NLP results to cause computer software provided with the NLP to present the interactive features. For example, a user may click on a definite noun phrase to view information for diagnosing antecedent basis errors. For another example, a user may click on a word to view information about how that word is used in a document, such as viewing portions of the document that include the word or variants of the word.

Abstract: An integrated approach is provided to running web applications with various compatibilities that do not require third-party extensions or sacrifice user experience. When a page of an application incompatible with a first browser is to be executed, an instance of a second browser with which the page is compatible is separately invoked and/or executed without opening a window for that second browser. Instead, the second browser opens a page within the window of the first browser. Moreover, rendering and/or contextual information for a page opened via the second browser is provided to the first browser. Such information is utilized by the first browser to provide a visual experience to the user in which the web page is being hosted by the first browser, even though it is in fact being hosted by the second browser.

Abstract: One variation of a method for serving interactive advertisement content includes, at a visual element rendered within a window of a computing device: loading an interactive advertisement, including a digital advertisement and a mask overlaid the digital advertisement, into the visual element, the mask including a base layer and an aperture defining a second opacity less than a first opacity of the base layer; in response to a scroll event that moves the visual element a first position within the window, rendering the interactive advertisement within the visual element; and, in response to a scroll event that moves the visual element to a second position within the window, transforming the mask according to a sequence of transformations at a rate proportional to a scroll rate of the scroll event, the sequence of transformations corresponding to a sequence of vertical positions of the visual element within the window.

Abstract: In a data processing method, a processing device obtains a to-be-processed table image, and determines a table recognition result based on the table image and a generative table recognition policy. The generative table recognition policy indicates that the table recognition result of the table image is to determine using a markup language and a non-overlapping attribute of a bounding box. The bounding box indicates a position of a text included in a cell in a table associated with the table image, and the table recognition result indicates a global structure and content that are included in the table. The processing device then outputs the table recognition result.
