The vibration detecting device comprises a vibration detector for detecting a vibration to output a vibration detecting signal, a calculator for performing a predetermined operation based on the vibration detecting signal, and a controller for determining whether or not an operation output signal of the calculator exceeds a predetermined range. The controller is provided with an operation signal generator for generating an operation signal when the operation output signal exceeds the predetermined range, and the calculator is provided with an initializing portion for returning the operation output signal into the predetermined range based on the operation signal. In the vibration detecting circuit, a DC offset component can be suppressed.

    摘要: A camera which compensates for vibrations to reduce image blur by shifting an image blur suppression lens. The image blur suppression lens is movable in directions perpendicular to the optical axis of the camera. An interrupter detects the position of the image blur suppression lens and produces a position detection signal having change points occurring to indicate the position of the image blur suppression lens. A timer produces a count value and a memory device stores the count value of the timer when a change point occurs in the position detection signal. A control device determines the displacement velocity of the image blur suppression lens from the count value stored in the memory device. In this manner, the accuracy and efficiency of the computation of the displacement velocity is improved.

    摘要: A camera is provided which has a vibration detection unit that detects vibration, a photographic focal length detection unit which detects the focal length of the photographic optical system, and a distance-measurement unit that measures the distance to the object being photographed. The vibration compensation device employs drive motors as a vibration compensation unit. The drive motors have a start up time which is at least as fast as the acceleration of a vibration having roughly a sine wave shape with a frequency of 10 Hz and a maximum velocity of 7.5 mm/sec. Such a motor is able to reach the maximum velocity of the vibration in under 25 ms. Additionally, a correct compensating coefficient calculation unit is provided which, from the output of the photographic focal length detection unit and the output of the distance-measurement unit, calculates a correct compensation coefficient for determining how much to change the optical axis of the photographic optical system relative to the output of the vibration detection unit. The vibration compensation device compensates for vibrations by driving the motor to change the optical axis of the photographic optical system of the camera in response to the compensation coefficient and the output of the vibration detection unit.
