Stabilized lithium powder according to an embodiment of this disclosure contains lithium particles and transition metal. Each lithium particle has a stabilized film on a surface thereof; the stabilized film contains an inorganic compound; and main transition metal, which is contained the most in the transition metal, is contained by 0.5×10−3 wt % or more and 11.5×10−3 wt % or less.

The negative electrode active material contains silicon particles, and when an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy spectrum with a binding energy in a range of 678 eV or more and 698 eV or less is measured from a surface in a depth direction, the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy spectrum measured at any position in the depth direction has a first peak with a binding energy of 687 eV or more.

There is provided an electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery including: a metal foil; a conductive layer formed on at least a part of the metal foil; and an active material layer formed on at least a part of a surface on a side opposite to a side of the metal foil of surfaces of the conductive layer, in which the conductive layer contains conductive particles and an insulating resin, the active material layer contains a first active material layer and a second active material layer, the first active material layer and the second active material layer are laminated such that the first active material layer is closer to the conductive layer, and the second active material layer has a porosity larger than a porosity of the first active material layer.

In plan view of the power generation element from a lamination direction, in a second direction orthogonal to a first direction in which the electrode terminals extend, the relationship of t1 t2 is satisfied when the width of the negative electrode is smaller than the positive.
