Abstract: Scrubbing a gas by injecting a wash liquid directly into a high speed jet stream formed by passing said gas thru a restricted plate orifice at a substantial pressure, atomizing the wash liquid in the jet stream and thereafter coalescing the water droplets containing contaminant materials.
