    Abstract: An apparatus includes an image sensor, a linear actuator, a projector coupled to the linear actuator, and a controller coupled to the image sensor and to the linear actuator. The controller is configured to determine a location of an eye of a user based on image data from the image sensor. The controller is further configured to activate the linear actuator to drive the projector to a position associated with projecting to the eye at the location. The controller is further configured to initiate projection, via the projector, of an image depicting a view of a three-dimensional scene, the image selected based on the location.

    Abstract: An apparatus for high dynamic range (HDR) modulation includes one or more lasers configured to transmit respective beams of laser light with a single color mode and a PLM optically coupled to the one or more lasers. The PLM is configured to modulate the laser light to produce a first modulated light. The apparatus also includes a phosphor optically coupled to the PLM and configured to receive at least a first portion of the first modulated light from the PLM and to emit a phosphor light with multiple color modes. At least one spatial light modulator (SLM) is also optically coupled to the phosphor and configured to modulate the multiple color modes in the phosphor light and the single color mode to project a second modulated light.

    Abstract: In an example, a system includes a light splitter configured to reflect first light having a first wavelength and a first polarization, to transmit light having the first wavelength and a second polarization, to transmit light having a second wavelength, and to transmit light having a third wavelength. The system also includes a quarter wave plate optically coupled to the light splitter. The system includes a color wheel optically coupled to the quarter wave plate, the color wheel having a first filter segment, a second filter segment, and a third filter segment. The system also includes a phosphor optically coupled to the color wheel, the phosphor configured to produce second light responsive to receiving the first light, and the color wheel configured to receive the second light and produce light having the second wavelength or the third wavelength.

The first viewing window corresponds to a first projector of a plurality of projectors. The method further includes determining a second location, within a second viewing window, of a second eye of the user based on the image data. The second viewing window corresponds to a second projector of the plurality of projectors. The method further includes initiating projection, via the first projector, of a first image depicting a first view of a three-dimensional scene. The first image is selected based on the first location. The method further includes initiating projection, via the second projector, of a second image depicting a second view of the three-dimensional scene. The second image is selected based on the second location.
