摘要: An imaging system can include a segmented modulator, for example, a spatial light modulator, that is segmented into two or more equally or differently sized regions, and utilized to create a 3D, pseudo 3D, hologram, pseudo hologram, holographic, or pseudo holographic image. A voltage control unit is coupled to the spatial light modulator and controls voltages across each of the regions, wherein the voltage across one of the regions differs from the voltage across another one of the regions.

摘要: Provided are a wavelength conversion apparatus, a light source system including the same, and a display device including the light source system. The wavelength conversion apparatus includes an angle deflection region and a wavelength conversion region for converting incident second light into excited light and then emitting same. The angle deflection region includes deflection units, each of which includes a light emergent face for emitting first light. A first included angle is formed between the light emergent face and a reference plane. First included angles between light emergent faces of at least two deflection units and the reference plane are not equal. The deflection units are located on a light path of the first light in a time sequence, so as to change an emergent angle of the first light in the time sequence, such that the first light is successively scanned at a preset position to form virtual pixels.

摘要: A laser projection display method includes: in an output period for a laser source to output a primary color beam, controlling the laser source to be turned off according to a set rotation switching period, the rotation switching period indicating a moment when the laser source is turned off and a moment when the laser source is turned on; in the rotation switching period, driving micro-mirrors in a digital micro-mirror device to perform rotation switching between an ON state and an OFF state until the moment when the laser source is turned on indicated by the rotation switching period is reached; and when the moment when the laser source is turned on is reached, controlling the laser source to be turned on, and driving the micro-mirrors to rotate to project and display an image to be displayed until a next rotation switching period is reached.

摘要: A dental scanning system comprises an intraoral scanner and one or more processors. The intraoral scanner comprises one or more light projectors configured to project a pattern (comprising a plurality of pattern features) on a surface of a dental object, and two or more cameras configured to acquire one or more sets of images, wherein each set of images comprises at least one image from each camera, and wherein each image includes at least a portion of the projected pattern. The processors are configured to determine one or more image features within each set of images, solve a correspondence problem within each set of images such that points in 3D space are determined based on the image features, wherein said points form a solution to the correspondence problem, and wherein the correspondence problem is solved for groups of pattern features, and generate a digital 3D representation of the dental object using the solution to the correspondence problem.

摘要: A new projector design combines one spatial light modulator that affects only the phase of the illumination, and one spatial light modulator that only affects its amplitude (intensity). The phase-only modulator curves the wavefront of light and acts as a pre-modulator for a conventional amplitude modulator. This approach works with both white light and laser illumination, generating a coarse image representation efficiently, thus enabling, within a single image frame, significantly elevated highlights as well as darker black levels while reducing the overall light source power requirements.
