Abstract:
The general field of the invention is that of capacitive dongles used with visualization devices including a capacitive touch-sensitive surface comprising a matrix of conductive rows and columns, the dongle being arranged on said touch-sensitive surface in operational use, the dongle operating in send mode and in receive mode. The dongle according to the invention includes: means for sending periodic analogue signals sent at a specific frequency known as the dongle frequency; a ring-shaped flat conductive metal part connected to said sending means, said part intended to be placed on said touch-sensitive surface; means for receiving the received signals output by said conductive metal part; mean for analyzing said digitized received signals; means for storing the sent and analyzed signals; a digital communication interface.
Abstract:
The general field of the invention is that of touchscreen devices with projected capacitive detection comprising a touch-sensitive matrix panel comprising a plurality of conductive rows and conductive columns, said panel being connected to electronic control means. The electronic control means generate two periodic transmission voltages transmitted at two different frequencies. Analysis of the reception voltages is used to determine the positions of presses on the touch-sensitive panel, including when a row or column is cut. Pressing on a cut row or column is basically determined by calculating the barycenters of ‘virtual’ hollows in the reception voltages corresponding to this cut row or column.
Abstract:
The general field of the invention is that of devices with touchscreen of the capacitive type comprising two matrix touch pads connected to an electronic assembly comprising emission and receiving means. The emission means generate a plurality of emission signals at various frequencies. A period equal to the inverse of the said frequency being associated with each frequency, the values of the frequencies are such that there exist a plurality of integer numbers each associated with a frequency and with a period such that the product of each integer number with the associated period is a constant product. The receiving means comprise a synchronous amplitude demodulation arranged in such a manner as to perform the multiplication of the received signal by a plurality of periodic functions representative of each frequency, the multiplied signals obtained being integrated over an identical period of time corresponding to the said constant product, each signal thus integrated being representative of a received signal at a single given frequency.
Abstract:
A device with touch surface with projected capacitive detection comprising a matrix touchscreen comprises a plurality of conductive rows and of conductive columns, the screen linked to electronic control means generating, for each conductive row and for each conductive column, transmission signals and electronic means for receiving and analyzing the reception signals from each conductive row and from each conductive column. Each row of the device comprises, at one of its ends, first means for generating a first transmission signal and first means for receiving a first reception signal and, at its opposite end, second means for generating a second transmission signal and second means for receiving a second reception signal, the first transmission signal and the second transmission signal being synchronous, having the same frequency, the same amplitude and the same phase.
