Abstract: Embodiments of the instant disclosure generally relate to compositions and methods for improving engraftment, reducing the risk of cellular implantation or transplantation rejection, reducing toxicities due to radiation and chemotherapy treatments and/or treating a malignant or non-malignant condition or a subject having a solid organ transplantation using stem cell implantation in combination with compositions disclosed herein. In certain embodiments, compositions and methods disclosed herein concern administering a composition including, but not limited to, at least one Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor. In some embodiments, compositions and methods disclosed herein can be administered in combination with and/or before, during and/or after hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) to treat a health condition in a subject.
