Abstract: The invention provides a dyeing solution for lithographic printing plates and a dyeing method for waterless lithographic printing plates that show stable plate inspection characteristics with little decrease in dye concentration and less dyeing unevenness even when used for bulk plate processing. The dyeing method for waterless lithographic printing plates is designed so that when used to dye an image area formed on a waterless lithographic printing plate with a dyeing solution containing an organic solvent, the relation of |β−α|

Abstract: A problem to be addressed by the present invention is to provide a method of producing a printed material by printing an active energy ray-curable printing ink on a film, wherein the printed material has good adhesion between the ink and the film even after undergoing boiling treatment for boiling sterilization or retorting sterilization. Such a problem is solved by a method of producing a printed material, including the steps of printing an ink on a film; and irradiating the ink-printed face with an active energy ray; wherein the film contains: a polyamide film layer; and a layer that, as the outermost layer of at least one face of the film, contains a polyurethane obtained by use of a polycarbonate polyol as a polyol component.

Abstract: The present invention provides a lithographic printing plate precursor including at least a heat-sensitive layer and an ink repellent layer disposed on a substrate, the rate of gas generation therefrom being 6.5×105 g/m3 to 12.5×105 g/m3 as determined by GC-MS analysis in which the lithographic printing plate precursor is heated in a nitrogen stream at 450° C. for 5 minutes, and also provides a method for producing a lithographic printing plate and a method for producing printed matter therefrom.
