The rehabilitation assistance system includes: a goal acquisition unit configured to acquire a long-term goal to be achieved over a long period of time, the long-term goal having a plurality of achievement stages for recovering functions of a predetermined physical action of a rehabilitation patient, and a short-term goal to be achieved in a short period of time which is shorter than the long period of time, the short-term goal having a plurality of achievement stages; a practice result acquisition unit configured to acquire a practice item practiced on each practice day as practice results; an achievement stage acquisition unit configured to acquire the achievement stage achieved by the practice results; a prediction unit configured to predict, based on the achieved achievement stage; and a display unit configured to cause a display device to display the practice results.

Provided is an autonomous moving body including a recording unit that records in advance position information of a fixed obstacle whose position does not change, a detection unit that detects an obstacle likely to interfere with the autonomous moving body when moving through a moving path, a check unit that checks whether the detected obstacle is the fixed obstacle, a control unit that determines whether to clear away the obstacle when the check unit concludes that the obstacle is not the fixed obstacle, and an informing unit that outputs a signal requesting to clear away the obstacle when the control unit determines to clear away the obstacle.

A rehabilitation support system includes: a patient information acquisition unit that acquires patient information relating to a target patient, the patient information including information of at least one reference time point; a related data acquisition unit that acquires related data of another patient similar to the patient information, the related data including training achievement data of rehabilitation, a transition of a recovery evaluation index, and information of reference time point corresponding to the reference time point of the target patient; a training plan creation unit that creates a training plan of the target patient based on the related data of the other patient by aligning the reference time point of the patient information and the reference time point of the other patient; and a presenting unit that presents the training plan.

A communication system includes a first microphone, a first loudspeaker, a second loudspeaker, a second microphone, a speaker number determination unit, and a control unit. The first microphone acquires a surrounding voice as a voice signal. The first loudspeaker is provided near the first microphone and outputs a voice. The second loudspeaker acquires the voice signal from the first microphone and outputs the voice signal as a voice. The second microphone acquires a surrounding voice as a voice signal and outputs the voice signal to the first loudspeaker. The speaker number determination unit determines the number of speakers around the first microphone based on the voice signal acquired by the first microphone. The control unit controls a volume of the first loudspeaker based on the determination of the speaker number determination unit.
