Abstract: The present disclosure provides a conveyance control system and the like that enable a scheduled recipient of a conveyance object to reliably receive the conveyance object even when a destination of a conveyance robot is changed for any reason. The conveyance control system is a conveyance control system configured to control a conveyance robot to autonomously move and convey a conveyance object to a destination, including: a change unit configured to change the destination after the conveyance robot starts conveying the conveyance object; and a notification unit configured to notify an information terminal of a scheduled recipient of the conveyance object about destination information regarding the destination that has been changed by the change unit.

Abstract: A self-moving apparatus that provides a service by moving to a destination and includes a detection unit and a reporting unit. A reception unit receives a user instruction for causing the self-moving apparatus to move to a predetermined destination if the self-moving apparatus is in a predetermined state relating to maintenance or printing or if the self-moving apparatus is changed to be in the predetermined state. A detection unit detects a state of the self-moving apparatus. A moving unit that moves to the predetermined destination if the self-moving apparatus is in the predetermined state or if the self-moving apparatus is changed to be in the predetermined state on the basis of a detection result obtained by the detection unit.

Abstract: A method for performing tasks on items located in a space using a robot, the items being located proximate fiducial markers, each fiducial marker having a fiducial identification. The method includes receiving an order to perform a task on at least one item and determining the fiducial identification associated with the at least one item. The method also includes obtaining, using the fiducial identification of the at least one item, a set of coordinates representing a position of the fiducial marker with the determined fiducial identification, in a coordinate system defined by the space. The method further includes navigating the robot to the coordinates of the fiducial marker associated with said determined fiducial identification.

The map information storage stores map information concerning a delivery area. The mover moves the autonomous mobile device. The path generator sets a first object to which a first mark is attached as a first delivery destination, and generates a path from a moving start position of the autonomous mobile device to the first delivery destination based on the first mark information and the map information. The moving controller controls the mover to move the autonomous mobile device to the first delivery destination based on the path.

Abstract: Remote presence systems and methods are presented. In one embodiment, a system may comprise a pilot workstation comprising a pilot computing station having a display, a microphone, a camera oriented to capture images of the pilot, a network connectivity subsystem, and a master input device such as a keyboard, mouse, or joystick. The pilot network connectivity subsystem may be operatively coupled to an electromechanically mobile workstation comprising a mobile base interconnected to a head component. The mobile workstation may comprise a display, a microphone, a camera oriented to capture images of nearby people and structures, and a workstation network connectivity subsystem that preferably is operatively coupled to the pilot network connectivity subsystem. Preferably by virtue of the system components, the pilot is able to remotely project a virtual presence of himself in the form of images, sound, and motion of the mobile workstation at the location of the mobile workstation.
