Abstract: An illustrative communication provider system presents, to a first user, a communication interface that displays a representation of a shared virtual space that the first user shares with a second user. The communication provider system determines a virtual location status and an availability status for the second user. The virtual location status is representative of a virtual location of the second user within the shared virtual space. The availability status is representative of a particular availability mode included in a plurality of selectable availability modes. The communication provider system displays, within the communication interface presented to the first user, a profile icon for the second user. The profile icon indicates both the virtual location status and the availability status of the second user to the first user. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: An illustrative communication provider system determines that a first virtual location of a first avatar in a shared virtual space is proximate to a second virtual location of a second avatar in the shared virtual space. The first avatar represents a first user and the second avatar represents a second user located remotely from the first user. The communication provider system detects an availability status of the second user, and, based on the availability status of the second user and the determination that the first virtual location of the first avatar is proximate to the second virtual location of the second avatar, the communication provider system provides audio content for presentation to the second user. The audio content is representative of a spoken communication by the first user. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for analyzing and optimizing conference experiences. The system may identify parameters associated with a conference between a set of User Equipment (“UEs”) used by different conference participants to access the conference. The system may compare the identified parameters to sets of parameters associated with a classification model. The system may identify, based on the comparing and the model output, a particular classification for the conference, and may calculate an impact of each conference parameter on the particular classification based on a particular parameter combination included in the model for the particular classification. The system may determine that a subset of the conference parameters has a larger impact on the particular classification than other conference parameters, may select one or more actions that are associated with the particular classification and the subset of parameters, and may perform the one or more actions.

Abstract: A data stream from an internal endpoint of a video conference participant is received at an enterprise media processing node. The internal endpoint is accessible to the enterprise media processing node behind a firewall on an enterprise network. The received data stream is translated and transcoded into a predefined common communication protocol. A data stream in the common communication protocol is received at an external media processing node using a firewall friendly protocol to traverse the firewall from an external endpoint. The external endpoint communicates with the external media processing node outside the enterprise network. A composite data stream of the received data streams from endpoints within the enterprise network and outside the enterprise network is selectively generated, and sent to the internal endpoint.
