Abstract: A personal display system with which a user may adjust the configuration of displayed media is provided. The personal display system may include an electronic device operative to provide media to a personal display device operative to display the received media. Using one or more optical and digital components, the personal display device may adjust displayed media to overlay features of a theater, thus giving the user of the personal display device the impression of being in the theater. In some embodiments, the personal display device may detect the user's movements using one or more sensors and may adjust the displayed image based on the user's movements. For example, the device may detect a user's head movement and cause the portion of media displayed to reflect the head movement.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a virtual resource processing method, apparatus, electronic device and storage medium. The virtual resource processing method comprises: determining, in response to a target interaction operation on a character-related content in a book, an interaction result of the target interaction operation, wherein the character-related content comprises a character discussion content and/or a character-related plot in the book; and allocating a character-type virtual resource to a user in the event that the interaction result satisfies a preset condition, wherein a relationship between a plurality of character-type virtual resources is determined based on a character relationship in the book, and wherein the character-type virtual resource is used for user interaction in a book community. It is possible to increase the interaction fun in book reading, promote social activities and motivate users to perform more interactions of character-related contents for obtaining a wider range of character-type virtual resources.

Abstract: A system configured to enhance emotional accessibility of media content depicting one or more characters includes a computing platform having a hardware processor and a memory storing software code. The hardware processor executes the software code to obtain annotation metadata identifying one or more emotions of at least one character, determine, based on the one or more emotions, a mood of the at least one character. The hardware processor further executes the software code to identify, based on the mood of the at least one, one of a plurality of emojis for visually communicating that mood, and generate a visual accompaniment to be displayed in synchronization with displaying the media content to enhance the emotional accessibility of the media content, wherein the visual accompaniment includes the one of the plurality of emojis.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for monitoring extended reality spaces. One of the methods includes maintaining, for an extended reality environment generated by a first device operated by a person, data defining a three-dimensional space at a property; accessing sensor data generated by one or more sensors physically located at the property; predicting, using the sensor data, that an object will likely interfere with the three-dimensional space at the property; and in response to predicting that the object will likely interfere with the three-dimensional space at the property, providing a notification to a second device.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques to facilitate vehicular incident reenactment using three-dimensional (3D) representations. The techniques include presenting an image including 3D representations of one vehicle and one non-vehicular object related to a vehicular incident. The operations further include providing a message that requests manipulation of the 3D representations to reenact the vehicular incident. The operations further include receiving input and generating a 3D reenactment of the vehicular incident that includes the 3D representations of the at least one vehicle and at least one non-vehicular object.
