    Abstract: A method, device, and computer-readable medium are provided for sending, by a customer-premises equipment (CPE) device to a wireless access device via a CPE network interface, an Internet protocol (IP) address lease request, wherein the wireless access device terminates a wireless backhaul connection to a service provider network; receiving, responsive to the IP address lease request, an acknowledge message that includes a requested IP address and a protocol configuration option (PCO) providing identification information for the wireless access device; connecting, via the wireless access device and using the requested IP address, to a bootstrap server device associated with the service provider network; receiving, via the wireless access device, attachment information associated with a network management server and the service provider network; and sending, via the wireless access device, the identification information to the network management server in an attachment procedure using the attachment information.

    Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a network subscription activation and configuration service is provided. The service may include a network device receiving subscription information including at least one of a short messaging service (SMS) packet data unit (PDU) format supported by an end device or an SMS delivery preference of the end device The network device also receiving availability information indicating that the end device is active on a network; selecting, based on the subscription information and the availability information, a network path from among network paths that enables delivery of a binary short messaging service (SMS) message; and transmitting, via the network path, the binary SMS message to the end device.

    Abstract: A method, device, and computer-readable medium are provided to send, by a first consumer-premises equipment (CPE) device to a second CPE device in a local area network (LAN), a first request for an IP address, wherein the first request is a first signaling message that includes a first protocol configuration option (PCO) providing first network-centric information for the first CPE device; receive, from the second CPE device, an acknowledgement to the first request, wherein the acknowledgment is a second signaling message that includes the IP address and a second PCO providing second network-centric information for the second CPE device; connect, via the second CPE device, to a bootstrap server device via a radio access network (RAN); receive, via the second CPE device, attachment information associated with a network management server; and send, via the second CPE device, the second network-centric information to the network management server in a first attach.
