Abstract: A battery housing for constructing a drive battery system for a motor vehicle includes a first housing portion and a second housing portion, which are secured to each other in a connection region with a seal which is located therebetween, wherein there is provided an auxiliary assembly member which is located in the inner space formed by the first housing portion and the second housing portion and at least partially on the connection region.
