摘要: A cooling device for cooling a vehicle battery module that includes (i) a plurality of battery cells arranged in a predetermined direction and (ii) a bus bar electrically connecting between external electrodes of each adjacent two of the battery cells. The cooling device includes: a cooling pipe portion configured to guide a cooling liquid onto the battery module such that at least a portion of the bus bar and the cooling liquid are in thermal contact with each other; and a battery cooling circuit configured to cool the bus bar, by circulating the cooling liquid between the cooling pipe portion and a cooler.

摘要: An electronic circuit breaker comprising: an input connected to an electric DC power supply; an output connected to a load; the input connected to the output via a switch, said switch is controlled via a switch control line between an “ON”-state and an “OFF”-state; a switch driver connected to the switch control line, said switch driver configured to control the switch; and a switch protection, a voltage detection branch configured to output a first electric potential indicative of the electrical potential difference between the input and the output; a comparator circuit configured to compare the first electrical potential with a first threshold voltage, said first threshold voltage is indicative of an over-current level flowing through the switch; and a gate controller connected to the switch disable line and configured to disable the switch by connecting the switch control line to a potential which causes the switch to enter the “OFF”-state.

The battery holder includes a fixing bracket, the fixing bracket has an upper-position accommodation cavity, an upper-position sensor is arranged in the upper-position accommodation cavity, the upper-position sensor is used for detecting the supporting portion of the battery pack, so as to determine whether the battery pack has been installed in place relative to the battery holder in the height direction of the electric vehicle; and/or, the fixing bracket has a front-position accommodation cavity, a front-position sensor is arranged in the front-position accommodation cavity, the front-position sensor is used to detect the supporting portion of the battery pack, so as to determine whether the battery pack is installed in place relative to the battery holder in the length direction of the electric vehicle.

摘要: A battery system for an electric vehicle includes a fixed cover, and a removable cover arranged over battery modules and a high voltage distribution system. The battery system includes a busbar arranged at least partially over a region of the battery modules and under the removable cover. The busbar includes a fixed section and a movable section, or a hinge, such that the busbar can be repositioned out of the way. The support tray includes a link between the fixed and movable sections. Floating fasteners, allowing at least one of radial float and axial float are used to secure the link to the support tray, thereby avoiding safety hazards and reducing the potential for short circuits in high voltage distribution systems or conductors thereof. The floating fasteners include a head, a neck, an engagement section, and a washer, which prevent removal from a component once installed.

摘要: A body-in-white (BIW) of an electric vehicle includes an integrated battery frame having an integrated cover and a lower tray that may be joined together for holding a battery pack for powering the EV. The integrated battery frame extends between and connects to each of two opposite rocker panels of the BIW and provides a floor of the vehicle for mounting cabin components/assemblies such as passenger seats. The integrated battery frame also functions to enclose a battery compartment for protecting batteries from water intrusion and crash events. The integrated battery frame and BIW of the present disclosure provides an efficient EV architecture that eliminates redundant structures and components, improves load paths, and increases space for batteries.
