摘要： A digital photo frame with a background color editing function includes a storage unit; an interface used for connecting with an external storage device; a display screen including a primary display area for displaying digital images and a secondary display area for displaying a default background color, wherein the secondary display area surrounds the primary display area; and a processing unit comprising: a digital image obtaining module for obtaining data of a digital image from the storage unit or the external storage device, and displaying the digital image on the primary display area; a hue obtaining module for obtaining the main hue of a digital image; and an editing module for changing the default background color into the main hue. Related methods are also provided.

The processing unit includes a detecting module for detecting whether the interface is connected with the external storage device; an obtaining module for obtaining an identification number of the connected external storage device; a search module for searching for a folder corresponding to the external storage device in the storage unit, according to the identification number of the external storage device; a reading module for reading files from the external storage device; and a backup module for backingup the files to the corresponding folder when the search module finds the corresponding folder. The processing unit includes a selection interface display module, a selection control module, and an image search module. The selection interface display module controls the display screen to display a selection interface that provides the catalogues for selection according to the selection interface information. The selection control module generates a selection signal in response to a selection operation on the selection interface. The selection signal indicates which catalogue on the selection interface is selected. The image search module searches the storage unit for the images according to the selection signal. An image display method is also provided.

摘要： The present invention provides a charging mode control circuit and method. By utilizing such charging mode control circuit and method, a secondary battery fixed in a portable device can be quickly charged when the portable device communicate with an external computer. The method includes the steps of: a) providing a commutator, the commutator comprising an adaptor, a first interface, and a second interface, wherein the first interface is connected to the external computer and the second interface is connected to the portable device; b) filtering a charging voltage from the adaptor and obtaining a ripple voltage from the charging power supply; c) rectifying the ripple voltage; d) comparing the rectified ripple voltage with a reference voltage, thereby producing a voltage waveform signal according to a comparison result; and e) selecting a fast charging mode for the secondary battery according to the voltage waveform signal.

摘要： A charging mode control circuit (320) includes a detecting circuit (321) and a charging control circuit (322). The detecting circuit detects whether a power/data interface (310) is in a communication state, and accordingly outputting a control signal. The charging control circuit receives the control signal and obtaining power from the power/data interface to charge a secondary battery (330) with a charging mode in accordance with the control signal. The charging mode is a fast charging mode with a charging current larger than a predetermined level, or a slow charging mode with a charging current not larger than the predetermined level. A portable electronic device (30) incorporates the charging mode control circuit is also provided.
