A sign structure for a personal computer includes a casing panel, an illuminating panel, and a sign panel. The casing panel has a least one slot opening. The illuminating panel, mounted adjacent to an exterior surface of the casing panel has at least one through opening corresponding to the slot opening, and at least one power supply connector. The sign panel mounted adjacent to an exterior side of the illuminating panel has at least one through hole corresponding to the through opening. Besides, at least part of the sign panel is transparent. Therefore, the illuminating panel of the sign structure for a personal computer of the invention can illuminate when the power is transmitted through the power supply connector to it, in order to differentiate the I/O connectors of the personal computer in low light conditions.

The electronic component is electrically connected with the motherboard. The I/O port is electrically connected with the motherboard and has at least one machine code to indicate the status of the electronic component. The status display module is electrically connected with the motherboard. The status display module includes a decoder and a display device. The decoder is configured to translate the machine code into a text description. The display device is disposed on the chassis and is electrically connected to the decoder to display the text description.

A circuit board module includes a circuit board, a plurality of electronic components, a plurality of connectors and a cover. The circuit board includes a heat dissipation unit. The electronic components, the connectors and the heat dissipation unit are disposed on a first surface of the circuit board. The cover has a plurality of openings with the shapes and the sizes corresponding to the connectors and the heat dissipation unit. When the cover covers the circuit board, the openings expose the connectors and the heat dissipation unit. Users can plug and pull the connectors of the circuit board through the openings. The size of the cover is corresponding to the circuit board. The circuit board module is dust-proof and can prevent the users from accidentally touching the electronic components.

The circuit board module includes a first substrate, an interface card socket, a data processing unit and a connecting component. The interface card socket is detachably disposed on the first substrate and has a first slot. The first slot is used to connect with an interface card inserted. The connecting component is electrically connected to the data processing unit and the interface card socket. Therefore, the complexity of the trace design and the amount of the traces are reduced.
