摘要： A method and apparatus for efficiently transmitting channel quality information in an OFDM communication system using dynamic channel allocation and adaptive modulation, and determining parameters required for time-division channel quality information transmission in an asynchronous CDMA communication system are provided. In the OFDM communication system in which a plurality of subcarriers are allocated to a plurality of UEs, the subcarriers are divided into a plurality of subcarrier groups each having at least one subcarrier. Each of the UEs determines and transmits the channel quality information of each of the subcarrier groups according to predetermined transmission parameters at transmission time points that do not overlap with those of other UEs. A Node B dynamically allocates the subcarriers to the UEs and their corresponding modulation schemes according to the channel quality information.

摘要： A method is provided for controlling retransmission by a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system supporting Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology. A plurality of transport blocks is initially transmitted to a Node B. A retransmission request for at least one transport block among the plurality of transport blocks is received from the Node B. A precoding matrix for retransmission of the at least one transport block is determined based on the retransmission request for the at least one transport block. The at least one transport block is retransmitted using the determined precoding matrix.

摘要： A pen input device and method for a pen computing system. This device includes a touch screen panel mounted on a display screen, an electronic device interfaced with the panel, and a pen for inputting data. When a user handwrites a character, or a symbol on the screen panel, a stream of points is displayed on the touch screen panel to express the handwritten character equivalent to a character handwritten on a paper using a pen. When a user draws a boundary line having a specific shape on the touch screen panel using a pen, the pen input device forms a new entry field inside the boundary line. The user can enter a handwritten character or number in the entry field. In response to this entry, the pen input device converts the entered handwritten character or symbol to a computer text or instruction word. The pen input device also enables the user to determine the attributes and size of the generated entry field.
