摘要： An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes an input unit, a display unit and a storage unit. The storage unit stores a product function list and a plurality of UI profile files. Each of the UI profile files defines one display format. A UI (user interface, UI) establishing module activates a function of the electronic device for establishing a UI. A product function list loading module loads the product function list from the storage unit. A product function list parsing module parses the loaded product function list. A user interface profile file loading module selectively loads the UI profile file from the storage unit. A user interface generation module displays the parsed product function list on the display unit according to the display format of the selective UI profile file, and links the generated menu interfaces to generate a series of user interfaces.

摘要： An electronic device includes a display unit and a touch panel. The display unit includes at least two display areas, wherein each of the display areas has a unique operation frequency. The touch panel is installed in front of the display unit and includes at least two touch areas corresponding to the display areas, each of the touch areas is scanned with a unique scan frequency corresponding to the unique operation frequency of the corresponding display area. Through partition design for the GUI, the electronic device can respectively scan the touch areas, which replace the existing scanning method to scan the whole touch panel, and it is more efficient.

摘要： A calculation control method is used for an electronic device. The electronic device includes a storage unit storing a number of arithmetic equation models. The method includes the following steps. Sense handwritten touch input on a touch sensing unit by a user. Generate signals associated with the user's handwritten touch input. Display the handwritten content according to the generated signals. Recognize the handwritten content of the user, and convert the recognized handwritten content into an arithmetic operation if the recognized handwritten content matches one of the arithmetic equation models stored in the storage unit. Calculate a result of the arithmetic operation, if the recognized handwritten content matches one of the arithmetic equation models. And display the calculated result to the user.

The storage unit stores a function table recording a relationship between a plurality of types of touches and a plurality of control functions. The switch apparatus includes a touch panel, a touch controller, and an indicator located under the first touch region. The touch panel generates signals in response to touches applied on thereon. The touch panel includes a first touch region and a second touch region. The touch controller receives the signals and determines the type of the touch intended. The microprocessor refers to the function table, and controls the LED light source to execute the control function and to give visual feedback when the touch panel is touched. A switch apparatus is also provided.
