摘要: Disclosed is a system, method and apparatus operating on a high-pressure working fluid with high efficiency. The device has a reservoir of high-pressure working fluid. A fluid connection supplies the high-pressure working fluid at a controlled working pressure to a dose chamber to contain a volume of the high-pressure working fluid. A dose valve, biased to close, and able to be triggered open, is present between the dose chamber and a working chamber. A charge of the high pressure working fluid can be released from the dose chamber via the dose valve at a first end of the working chamber, to undergo a first expansion in the working chamber and do work therein to or towards a second end of the working chamber distal from the first end. The dose valve closes again before a pressure front of the charge in the working chamber has travelled less than or equal to halfway between the first end and the second end. This allows a second expansion of the charge to continue doing work. When the work is complete, the working chamber pressure is less than or equal to half the working pressure.

摘要: Due to their disease transmission, mosquitoes are the deadliest animal, killing over a million people each year. In addition, mosquitoes cause discomfort for adults and especially children who may suffer heavily from mosquito bites. Indeed, a study shows that most respondents considered mosquitoes to be a problem. Unfortunately, a combination of environmental change and urbanization help mosquitoes spread into new areas. Spraying mosquito repellent to eliminate mosquitoes was shown to be harmful for humans as well, and other devices fail to eliminate all mosquitoes. Therefore, we propose the development of an insect killer drone. The drone will include a tiny gun that, once the drone approaches the mosquito, will be able to eliminate it. The system also includes a docking station that detects the mosquitoes and controls the drone. The drone is intended to be autonomous but may allow manual control of the drone and tiny gun.

摘要: An animal trap is powered by compressed gas and includes a trigger mechanism and kill mechanism. The trap is preferably self-resetting. A variety of sources of compressed gas may be used, and different kill mechanisms may also be used. The trap is particularly suited to applications where low-maintenance traps are required, because it uses a simple, reliable mechanism which can kill a number of animals over a long period of time without requiring maintenance or manual resetting.

Hereby it is possible to prevent accidents due to e.g. erroneous activation of the trap in case of ordinary localized work illumination, including e.g. also in daylight at ground level or in artificial work illumination at the bottom of a shaft.

摘要: A mole trap has a tough plastic base with downwardly extending fixed blades. Movable plastic blades are pivotably connected to the base and urged into a sprung condition by springs. A two-segment lever extends between the base and a catch which is pivotably mounted to the base. A trigger extends through a central opening in the catch and has a post which protrudes beneath the catch where it can be actuated by the targeted mole. Operation of the trigger post causes the lever to release from its engagement with the catch so that the movable blades close on and strike the mole positioned beneath the trap. The trigger has a release tab extending from the lever, allowing convenient release from the set position, and an upwardly protruding set arm allowing trigger depression from a point exterior to the handle into its desired set configuration.

摘要: A rat trap which comprises: a plate with a first side and a second side and with a number of through-going openings from the first to the second side. The trap has a number of spikes secured to an anchoring plate which is arranged on the top face of said plate and wherein each spike is adapted to the individual openings in the plate to the effect that a spike is able to slide through the plate from the first side of the plate to the second side of the plate. Moreover, the plate has an infrared sensor which is adapted to detect the presence of a rat within the reach of the spikes. The trap is able to eject one or more of these spikes through the openings when the presence of a rat is detected by the infrared sensor. The rat trap further comprises a withdrawal mechanism which, following a given period of time, withdraws the spikes through the openings in the plate whereby the rat spiked by one or more spikes is released.

摘要: The present invention pertains to an apparatus and method for controlling wild animals comprised of an attractant that entices the target wild animal, such as a coyote, to consume the apparatus. Upon consumption, a trigger, which may be covered by a portion of the attractant reacts with fluids in the digestive system of the wild animal, that is, if the fluids are at a predetermined pH level corresponding to the trigger. For if not, the trigger is remains in a state of inactivation, but if the pH is within the predetermined pH range corresponding to the trigger, the trigger is configured to dissolve. Upon dissolving of the trigger, a subduing agent activates causing terminal damage in the digestive system of the wild animal leading to its death. The subduing agent may include metal reactants, chemical agents, percussion devices, compressed sponges, etc.
