    摘要： A positioning device for shelves includes a support and a sleeve, the support has a first end and a second end. A tail board extends from the first end and a notch is defined in the tail board. The sleeve has a passage defined axially therethrough and at least one stop extends inward from the inner periphery of the passage. The tail board is inserted into the passage and the stop is engaged with the notch so as to secure the support to the passage. An engaging portion is located in the notch and located corresponding to the stop.

The safety lock includes a cross-shaped member rigidly secured to the beam connectors and a U-shaped member associated with the cross-shaped member to operatively couple the U-shaped member with the end connector. The U-shaped member includes a hook which cooperates with an aperture in the frame supports to lock the safety lock device to the frame support which, in turn, locks the horizontal beams with the vertical frame supports.

    摘要： A frame type, heavy duty storage rack corner post is formed of sheet metal which is bent into a rear wall, integral side walls and front wall sections that are spaced apart to form a central slot extending the height of the post. The free edges of the front wall sections are bent outwardly to form a pair of parallel base walls which terminate in oppositely extending flanges, so that the front wall sections, base walls and flanges form oppositely opening, aligned vertically extending channels along the height of the post. The channel base walls are provided with a series of holes, with the holes in one aligned horizontally with the holes in the other. The channels are of a width to snugly receive a nut so that a screw may be inserted through a pair of aligned holes and threadedly engaged with the nut for turning the screw while the nut is held stationary by the channel walls.

    摘要： A shelf assembly (10) including apparatus (20, 22) for interlocking upright and transverse members (12, 14, 80, 90) without the need for separate fasteners or supplemental cross-bracing to achieve structural rigidity. The interlocking apparatus includes connectors (20) formed near the ends of the transverse beams, each connector comprising a lug (40) spaced from a side panel (30) of the transverse member (14) by a keyed pedestal (42). The pedestal is defined by spaced lug supporting legs (44, 46), joined by a curved interconnecting wall (48). The uprights include pairs of apertures (22) each defined by an upper slot segment (50a) having a lug clearance notch (52) and a lower slot segment (50b) having a narrowing transverse dimension. The upright and transverse members are interlocked by inserting the connectors of a transverse beam into the upper slot segments (50a) and then moving the transverse beam downwardly so that the lug overlies a face (30b) of the upright and the keyed pedestal coengages the edges of the lower slot segment (50b ) at three areas (62a, 62b, 62c) for a given length. The lug engagement prevents lateral separation of the upright and the transverse member whereas the pedestal/slot engagement inhibits relative rotation between the upright and transverse members. A "T" upright (80) and a tie bar (90) are also disclosed which enable side-by-side shelf units and spaced apart shelf units to be joined as well as supplemental supports (88) engageable with opposite transverse beams. In addition, the tie bars may provide support for an aisleway for multi-level shelf units.
