摘要： An artificial Christmas tree and storage cover a trunk and progressively larger branches from the top to near the base of the tree. The tree trunk rests in a central bore of a frustoconical base and has at least three swivel castor wheels mounted on the lower wall, providing movable support for the tree assembly. At least one castor wheel has a foot-operated brake. A conical cover covers the standing, decorated tree and attaches to the base. The cover has flaps spaced along one vertical edge of the cover and receiving mating patches spaced along an opposite edge the flaps and mating patches having VELCRO, hook and loop material on the mating surfaces thereof. The cover has three triangular portions each having mating flaps and patches in turn. The base and the lower end of the cover have mating strips of hook and loop material.

摘要： An adjustable stand assembly for mounting a Christmas tree or other plant in the vertical orientation. There is a reservoir member having a spherically-curved, convex lower bearing surface which rests in engagement with a corresponding spherically-curved, concave upper bearing surface on a stationary base member. The trunk of the tree is mounted to the reservoir member and extends through a top opening into the interior thereof. The angle at which the tree extends can be adjusted to vertical by sliding the spherically-curved bearing surface of the reservoir over the spherically-curved bearing surface of the base member. The assembly may also include a separate pot member which is mountable to the trunk of the tree and which rests in the reservoir opening so as to transfer vertical and side loads into the reservoir member and the base member.

摘要： A cover for Christmas trees which includes a tree-encapsulating bag or sheath provided with a center opening for receiving the trunk of the tree, a center string sleeve encircling the center opening and slidably containing a center perimeter string for tightening the center segment of the sheath against the trunk and an outside perimeter sleeve for containing an outside perimeter string, wherein the sheath can be extended entirely around the limits of the tree and the outside perimeter string tightened, to encapsulate the major portion of the tree inside the sheath. Multiple radial string sleeves slidably containing radial strings are also provided in the sheath, for shaping the sheath into a simulated landscape by forming pleats and scallops in the sheath. The cover can therefore be utilized as a decorative blanket which simulates a snow-covered landscape beneath the tree and as a dust cover for storing artificial Christmas trees or as a disposable or reuseable encapsulating bag for containing the needles of natural Christmas trees when disposing of such trees.

摘要： The present invention relates to a collar for upright members such as candles or Christmas trees, which is made of a pleated piece of sheet material, for example fabric, paper, metal foil, or synthetic material. The pleated piece of sheet material is folded so that one of its lateral edges forms a central opening for receiving the upright member while its other lateral edge forms a peripheral boundary of the folded collar. The end portions of the piece of sheet material are provided with releasable connecting means and the pleats or at least some of the pleats are provided with stiffening or reinforcing means such as ribs of cardboard. A stand comprising such a collar also has upper and lower stand members with a spacing therebetween in which the collar is received whereby the stand members extend radially outwardly from said central opening.
