The present invention discloses an electronic-dobby-and-jacquard-loom weaving machine and a weaving method. The machine comprises a weaving body, a first warp beam, a second warp beam, a jacquard loom, a dobby loom, a harness frame, a plurality of first harness wires, a plurality of second harness wires, a plurality of harness cords, a plurality of return springs and at least one weft accumulator, wherein the weaving body and the jacquard loom are connected with a synchronous transmission mechanism between them; the synchronous transmission mechanism comprises a weaving spindle, a main motor encoder, a jacquard loom transmission shaft, a jacquard loom encoder, a gear box and a servo control system. The present invention improves the clarity of the fell (shed), widens the fell, keeps the fell clear stably, and realizes high-density jacquard weaving.

The invention relates to a weaving machine with a shedding machine, which comprises activatable and deactivatable movements of the shedding means with a drive which is controlled independently of a drive of the weaving machine. During an operating malfunction the shedding means are controlled (N, N+1) in such a manner so that measures for eliminating the operating malfunction can be carried out. In that regard, merely the rotational speed of the weaving machine (n1.1) is reduced, while the shedding machine is further operated with a high working rotational speed (n1.2) and, if applicable without stopping, is again transitioned into the regular weaving operation, so that the time for the elimination of the operating malfunction is shortened and weaving errors are avoided.

The present invention relates to a gear mechanism for the drive assembly of a heald shaft (1), wherein the gear mechanism (6, 6a, 6b, 6c) comprises an input shaft (7, 7b, 7c) and an output shaft (5, 5b, 5c). The gear mechanism (6, 6a, 6b, 6c) generates a differential angle of rotation between the input shaft (7, 7b, 7c) and the output shaft (5, 5b, 5c) that is superimposed on the angle of rotation and, in dependence on the angle of rotation, is subjected to an oscillating change. This oscillating change can differ from a harmonic oscillation as a result of the non-circular design of the planet gears (11a, 12a, 13a) of the gear mechanism (6, 6b, 6c), thereby making it possible to realize almost any optional movements for the heald shaft (1), with low strain on the gears and the bearings. The invention furthermore discloses a simple production method and a compact design.

The dobby according to the invention comprises, at the level of each of its blades, an oscillating piece associated with an actuation element, at least one mobile coupling member borne by the actuation element and two pivoting levers subjected, on the one hand, to the action of a reading device and, on the other hand, to that of elastic means which tend to engage catches of the pivoting levers either with a jamming surface provided on the actuation element, or with the coupling member, while the lever in engagement with the jamming surface is out of range of a selector of the reading device. In addition, mechanical members independent of the reading device are adapted to displace, against the action of the elastic means, a lever whose catch is not in engagement with the jamming surface, with the result that it does not interfere with the angular displacement of the selector.

The connection link consists of two tubular bars of hollow aluminum alloy section pieces, preferably of rectangular cross-section. There is at least one internal rib that is perpendicular to the major sides of the rectangle. The section pieces, moreover, are cut away along opposing sides at their adjacent ends in order to expose the corresponding parts of their internal ribs. These are kept pressed, one against the other, in an adjustable position by a bolt. The bolt is threaded into one end of the section piece and passes through a slotted hole in the corresponding end of the other section piece.

A dog is supported radially displaceable in the eccentric hoop and may be brought in a controlled manner via corresponding actuating means into engagement either into one of two recesses of the connecting rod or in one of two recesses of the drive shaft. For structural simplicity, the actuating means and the direct control means for the dog are located within the drive shaft, i.e. in the center of roation of the coupling.
