摘要： The album has an imperforate backing member. Attached to the backing member are a plurality of transverse, parallel rectilinear strips each coated at its underside with adhesive. The strips are each adhered to the top face of the backing member, each strip having a section inclined away from and free of the top face of the backing member. Adhered to each of the inclined sections of the strips is a bent-back section of a transverse release ribbon. The ribbons have extending tab portions which may be grasped by fingers of a user to pull the release ribbon off and away from the strip to uncover the adhesive-coated inclined section or portion of the strip. The ribbons and inclined portions of the strip form adhesive-free wedge shaped spaces into which photographic snapshots may be inserted in predetermined overlapping relationship. After insertion of a snapshot the ribbon is pulled off to expose the adhesive coating on the underside of the associated strip so that the snapshot may be adhered to the uncovered portion of the strip. The snapshots can each be folded 180.degree. from a position exposing the picture of the photograph to a position in which the picture is hidden at the underside of the photograph. The extending tab portion of each release ribbon may or may not overlie the strip next adjacent thereto in a direction toward the upper end of the backing member. An adhesive coating on the bottom face of the backing member permits the latter to be adhered to an album page.

摘要： A wire hanger for removably affixing the pocket card of a visible index system to a card-supporting frame, tray, or other holder. The hanger has a rectilinear main body portion and integral loops at the opposite ends of that portion. Each loop has two sides paralleling the main body portion of the hanger and an integral return bend between those sides at that end of the loop opposite the main body portion of the hanger. One side of the loop has a pocket card hinge-receiving extension spaced from and paralleling the main body portion of the hanger, and the two sides of the loop are symmetrically disposed relative to the axial centerline of the loop's main body portion. The foregoing construction substantially eliminates the possibility of the pocket card hanger being improperly affixed to the pocket card supporting structure in a manner which would result in the lower part of the pocket card being obscured or exposed to an unwanted extent.

摘要： A flip-type album for protectively storing and displaying photos in an orderly sequence. The album has a pair of front and rear covers which are hinged together, the covers having a tray-like configuration such that when the front cover is superposed over the rear cover, it forms an enclosed box therewith. Each tray-like cover includes parallel side walls whose spacing substantially matches the width of the photos, a series of holes being formed at corresponding positions along the inner surfaces of these walls to define a set of bearings at each position. Supported by the bearing sets are flexible swing bars having a length greater than the width of the photos, the opposing ends of the bars being inserted in the bearing sets by first bowing the bars to shorten the distance between the ends. Each swing bar is constituted by an extruded channel of resilient plastic material having inwardly-biased jaws adapted to receive and clamp onto the upper margins of a photo, whereby the bars serve as hinges for a row of overlapping photos.

Rings secured to the cover extend through holes in the cards, and permit the cards to be turned in the manner of the pages of a book.
