摘要： A stage lighting device has a light source for emitting light and a light modifying element for modifying such light. The light modifying element is coupled to a driven element which is rotationally coupled to a structural member so as to be rotatable about a first axis. The device has a noise-producing motor assembly with an output shaft. A driving element is coupled to the output shaft to be rotationally driven by the output shaft about a second axis. The driving element is coupled to the driven element by an endless loop element so as to rotationally drive the driven element about the first axis. A vibration-isolating mounting structure couples a motor assembly to the structural member and includes surfaces which vibrationally isolate the motor assembly from the structural member to attenuate vibration transferred from the motor assembly to the structural member. The mounting structure is pivotally coupled to the structural member with a pivotal range of motion about a pivot axis which is substantially parallel to the first axis. A tensioner couples the structural member to the mounting structure to bias the mounting structure in a first direction about the pivot axis so as to maintain a tension in the endless loop element.

摘要： A vehicle headlamp includes a moveable shade. The front end of the shade body of the movable shade is formed into a substantially semispherical shape. The maximum radius of the pivotal locus of the shade body is smaller than conventional shades that have a front end portion formed into a cylindrical shape. Further, a slot is found in the front end portion that extends along the pivotal face of the movable shade. Therefore, the shade body and the discharge bulb do not interfere with each other even when the movable shade is caused to pivot, and the maximum radius of the pivotal locus of the shade body is further reduced. Thus, the shade body of a fixed shade can be smaller in size so that a greater space can be secured for use in disposing the fixed shade within an allowable range that refrains from unnecessarily shading the light reflected from a reflector.

摘要： A lighting system mountable to a support surface that comprises a mounting bracket and a light housing having a lens attached thereto. A bulb is located within the lens and the mounting bracket includes a first support point and a second support point. The housing also has a portion adapted to releasably engage the support points found on the mounting bracket in a sequential manner. In so doing, the first support point is engaged which allows the housing to pivot on the first support point. Next, the second support point is engaged which allows the housing to be secured to the mounting bracket in a fixed relationship.

摘要： A headlight arrangement of a vehicle having a reflector subdivided into a plurality of reflector regions, a light source arranged in a region of an apex of the reflector so that a light emitted by the light source is reflected by the reflector onto a roadway in front of the vehicle, at least one screening device associated with at least one of the reflector regions, the screening device being adjustable between a position in which the light emitted by the light source can reach a selected one of the reflector regions, and a position in which a light emitted by the light source is at least partially screened from a selected one of the reflector regions, and a control unit which controls the screening device in dependence on vehicle sensor signals and adjusts the screening device so that in each vehicle situation an optimal light distribution is provided.
