Abstract:
A system for providing thermal protection for an LED light module and methods for manufacturing the same are described herein. The thermally protected LED light module may include a heat sink assembly thermally coupled to an LED light source, and a thermal protector. The thermal protector may be connected to the heat sink assembly by a mechanical fastener. Further, the thermal protector is electrically coupled to the LED light source and a power source where the thermal protector breaks the power provided to the LED light source from the power source when the thermal protector detects heat at or above a threshold temperature.
Abstract:
An improved mixing bottle comprised of at least two chambers, a top chamber and a bottom chamber. Said chambers may be separated from one another, on the outside, by a freshness seal and, on the inside, by a permeable membrane. The top chamber interior will contain a wide mouth funnel with a wide end and a narrow end. While the freshness seal is still in tact, the narrower end of the funnel may point towards the bottom chamber and be situated somewhere just above the permeable membrane.
Abstract:
A motion detector system includes the ability to detect motion through the use of a Doppler radar sensor or a combination of PIR sensors and a Doppler radar sensor. The system includes an outdoor light fixture having one or more lamps and a housing coupled to the outdoor light fixture. The housing includes a Doppler radar sensor and a microprocessor for analyzing the signals received by the Doppler radar sensor. Alternatively, the housing includes a combination of PIR sensors and a Doppler radar sensor and a microprocessor for analyzing the signals received from these sensors. The lamps in the light fixture are activated when either the PIR sensor or the Doppler radar sensor generates a signal indicating motion within the monitored area. Alternatively, the lamps can be activated when either the PIR sensor or the Doppler radar sensor senses predetermined number of motion activities over a limited time period.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a coating composition including a sol-gel matrix and a dendrimeric organochalcogeno derivative and a system including the coating composition and a substrate. The present invention also relates to a method of preventing fouling of surfaces subjected to a marine environment.
Abstract:
A lighting system mountable to a support surface that comprises a mounting bracket and a light housing having a lens attached thereto. A bulb is located within the lens and the mounting bracket includes a first support point and a second support point. The housing also has a portion adapted to releasably engage the support points found on the mounting bracket in a sequential manner. In so doing, the first support point is engaged which allows the housing to pivot on the first support point. Next, the second support point is engaged which allows the housing to be secured to the mounting bracket in a fixed relationship.
