摘要： A luminaire is disclosed comprising one or more side members having one or more light modules associated therewith and defining a recess. The light module having one or more light sources, one or more light directing members, and a lens enclosing the light sources and directing members in the module. The light directing members redirecting light emitted from at least one of the one or more light sources to be perpendicular to the lens. One or more of the light directing members can be a reflector or an optic lens. The light modules can be configured to cast different light distributions to combine to form the desired light distribution. The light modules can be designed or exchanged to create any desired light distribution from the same side members. The light module can comprise a tray such that the lens is sealed to the tray keeping moisture from entering the module.

The reflector assembly can comprising any number of reflector modules and the reflector modules can be arranged in different configurations to create different light distributions with the same reflector modules.

摘要： A switched preconditioner circuit is provided at the power input end of a light source to effectively drop the voltage of the light source to zero volts whenever the light source is required to be in an OFF state thereby eliminating the problem of unwanted current through the light source. The preconditioner circuit may include a terminal connected to a first power potential, a terminal connected to a power node at the power input end of the light source, and an input to receive a preconditioner control signal to place the preconditioner circuit in one of an ON state and an OFF state. The preconditioner circuit supplies the voltage to the power node in its ON state and effectively eliminates the voltage to the power node in its OFF state. The preconditioner circuit also may include a bleed path connected between the power node and a second or ground potential to shunt all power supplied to the power node when the preconditioner circuit input receives a signal to place the preconditioner circuit in the OFF state.

The refractive lens is frustum-shaped with an upper light-exiting end having an upper rim, a lower light-entering end, and a conical sidewall that tapers from the upper rim to the lower end. The device has a channel including a base and first and second sidewalls extending from the opposed side edges of the base, and further having one or more optic holding positions. The optic holding position includes an aperture formed in the base that is configured to receive the conical sidewall of the optic, and an aperture formed in a portion of each sidewall, adjacent the aperture in the base, for retaining a portion of the upper rim of the optic lens. The aperture can include a slot opening through which a portion of the upper rim of the optic lens at least partially extends.
