    摘要: A method for obtaining a refined pose for a 3D sensor for online 3D modeling of a surface geometry of an object, the pose encompassing six degrees of freedom (DOF) including three translation parameters and three orientation parameters, the method comprising: providing the 3D sensor, the 3D sensor being adapted to capture 3D point measurements of the surface of the object from a viewpoint; providing a geometry model of at least part of the surface; observing a portion of the surface of the object with the 3D sensor; measuring an initialization pose for the 3D sensor by at least one of positioning device pose measurement, predicted pose tracking and target observation; finding a best fit arrangement of the 3D point measurements in the geometry model using the initialization pose; generating the refined pose for the 3D sensor using the best fit arrangement.

The apparatus comprises a lighting unit for projecting a concentrated diffused lighting onto the matter to generate a specular reflected light beam representative of the inspected matter. The apparatus comprises an imaging unit mounted according to a given imaging angle with respect to the projected concentrated diffused lighting for imaging the specular reflected light beam to provide image data representative of the inspected matter. The apparatus comprises an analyzing unit for analyzing the image data and providing matter characterization data based on the specular reflected light beam representative of the inspected matter.

    摘要: A weight determining system is for use with a non-singulated and non-spaced arrangement of items on a conveyor. The system includes an array of load cells, a scanning apparatus, and processors. Each of the items bears upon one or more of the load cells. Each of the load cells bears one or more of the items, and generates load data associated with them. The scanning apparatus generates scan data for the arrangement of the items on the conveyor. Based on the scan data, the processors: apportion the load data from each load cell to the items bearing on it; allocate to each item the load data apportioned from the various load cells; and determine a weight for each item. Also disclosed are a corresponding weight determining method, as well as a computer readable medium containing executable instructions to encode the processors to perform as aforesaid.

    摘要: There is described a method for applying a control rig to an animation of a character, the method comprising: receiving a state change for the character being in a first state; determining a second state for the character using the state change; retrieving an animation clip and a control rig both corresponding to the second state, the animation clip comprising a plurality of poses for the character each defining a configuration for a body of the character, the control rig being specific to the second state and corresponding to at least one constraint to be applied on the body of the character; applying the control rig to the animation clip, thereby obtaining a rigged animation clip; and outputting the rigged animation clip.

    摘要: A Fabry-Perot optical sensor for sensing a parameter such as pressure or the like is provided. The sensor includes a lead optical fiber from the end of which projects a spacer having an end surface curving inwardly. A diaphragm extends across the forward end of the spacer. The diaphragm is flexible in response to the parameter to be measured and defines a forward reflector of the Fabry-Perot cavity within the optical sensor. A method for manufacturing such a sensor is also provided.
