    Abstract: A display system includes an LED array and a driving device. The driving device includes a current driver, a scan selector and a capacitor. The current driver is connected to drive lines of the LED array, and provides a plurality of driving current signals respectively to the drive lines. The scan selector is connected to scan lines of the LED array, and has a first terminal that is configured to receive an input voltage, and a second terminal. The scan selector outputs the input voltage to a selected one of the scan lines, and outputs a clamp voltage provided at the second terminal thereof to the other ones of the scan lines. The capacitor has a first terminal, and a second terminal that is connected to the second terminal of the scan selector.

    Abstract: A current driving device includes a switch, a current generator and a brightness divider. The switch is coupled between the current generator and a light emitting element, and switches between conduction and non-conduction based on a pulse signal. Based on a magnitude control signal, the current generator generates a drive current that has a magnitude related to the magnitude control signal, and that flows through the light emitting element when the switch conducts. The brightness divider is coupled to the switch and the current generator, and generates the pulse signal and the magnitude control signal based on a brightness value such that average brightness of the light emitting element is related to the brightness value.

    Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) failure detecting device is operatively associated with an LED array, and includes a driving circuit and a determining circuit. The driving circuit is used to be coupled to scan lines and data lines of the LED array, and drives, based on a first control input corresponding to selection of one of LED units of the LED array, the LED units in such a way that a current flows through said one of the LED units. The determining circuit generates, based at least on the voltages respectively at the data lines and on a second control input corresponding at least to selection of the data line that is coupled to said one of the LED units, a determination output that indicates whether said one of the LED units is determined to have failed.
