摘要： An internal combustion engine is provided with a cartridge containing a fuel/oil mixture where the fuel is liquid, normally gaseous fuel. The cartridges can be readily mounted or demounted from the engine, and provide flexibility of use coupled with easy starting. The use of the fuel/oil cartridges eliminates the need to separately mix oil and fuel, and eliminates substantial contact of the user with an oily fuel/oil mixture. The two cycle and four cycle cartridge-type engines are suitable for use in many hand-powered implements, including line trimmers, chain saws, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.

摘要： Providing an oscillating tool for sanding a surface. The tool having a body defining an internal cavity which has a motor located therein. The motor has a motor shaft oriented in parallel alignment with the body. A crank is affixed to the motor which has a crank pin projecting therefrom. A lever arm is pivotably affixed to the body for rotation about a pivot axis generally perpendicular to the motor shaft. A lever arm cooperates with the crank pin to cause the lever arm to cyclically pivot back and forth in response to rotation of a motor shaft. A pad support is adapted to receive a work member. The planar pad support is affixed to the lever arm at a location spaced apart from the pivot axis and oscillates therewith. The pad support is provided with a substantially 90.degree. forward corner formed by a pair of facet edges. A pair of outwardly inclined straight side edges extend rearwardly from the facet edges on opposite sides of the pad center line. When the straight side edges are in use, the forward corner is inwardly offset, thereby minimizing wear in this region of the forward corner.

摘要： A snap fastener stud (S) for accommodating receivers (R) of varying thickness has a generally pear-shaped head with latching and retaining seats (38 and 40) therebeneath on opposite sides of the stud with the retaining seat having a radius of curvature (t) substantially greater than the radius of curvature (r) of the confronting surface of the receiver (R). In a modification the stud is capable of receiving a plurality of receivers (R.sub.1 and R.sub.3). The receivers may be formed with an annulus (72) which is separate from the portions (86 and 88) which are crimped to the fabric (F). The stud (S) has ribs (116) for preventing rotation on a surface on which the stud is mounted and a saddle shaped adapter (110) enables mounting of the stud on a cylindrical support (TF).
