Abstract: An oral care implement includes a head portion. The head portion includes one or more tooth cleaning elements. The oral care implement includes a handle portion that may be coupled to the head portion. The handle portion includes a central body having a proximal portion. The proximal portion may be opposite the head portion. The handle portion may include a first appendage extending laterally outwards from a first side of the central body in a first direction and a second appendage extending laterally outwards from a second side of the central body in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The first and second appendages may be angled towards each other to form an obtuse angle therebetween (e.g., when in an unstressed state). The proximal portion of the central body may protrude from a bottom end of the first and second appendages.

Abstract: An oral care implement and a method of forming the same. In one aspect, the invention can be an oral care implement having a handle and a head. The head has a basin cavity formed therein which has an open top end. An aperture is formed into the basin cavity that forms a passageway to an outer surface of the head. An applicator is positioned within the basin cavity so that a portion of the applicator protrudes through the aperture.
