Abstract: A method of a terminal may comprise: receiving, from a base station, configuration information of a guard band configured within a carrier bandwidth; determining a first transmission direction of a first subband configured in a higher frequency region from the guard band within the carrier bandwidth; determining a second transmission direction of a second subband configured in a lower frequency region from the guard band within the carrier bandwidth; determining a third transmission direction of the guard band based on the first transmission direction and the second transmission direction; and performing communication with the base station according to the third transmission direction in the guard band.

Abstract: A method by which a terminal operating in an unlicensed band transmits a signal includes the steps of: receiving, from a base station, configuration information about a carrier; receiving configuration information for configuring N (where N is an integer) guard band(s) for some frequency domains of the carrier; and transmitting a signal to the base station by using a first frequency domain of a bandwidth part belonging to the carrier, wherein the first frequency domain can be a domain excluding the N guard band(s) from the frequency domain of the bandwidth part.

Abstract: An operation method of a terminal may comprise receiving information on one CG configuration for uplink transmission from a base station; obtaining common time domain resource allocation information for combinations of RB sets based on the information on the one CG configuration; obtaining frequency domain resource allocation information for each of the combinations of the RB sets based on the information on the one CG configuration; determining a number of PRBs to which an uplink channel is mapped based on the frequency domain resource allocation information corresponding to one combination of the combinations; determining a TBS based on the common time domain resource allocation information and the number of PRBs; and transmitting a TB having the TBS to the base station within the one combination through the uplink channel according to the common time domain resource allocation information and the frequency domain resource allocation information.

Therefore, the performance of the communication system can be improved.

Abstract: An operation method of a terminal for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) to a base station by multiplexing two or more UCIs in a single physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) includes: determining a first sequence corresponding to a value of a second UCI (UCI2) when the UCI2 is generated before completing transmission of a first UCI (UCI1) to the base station; modulating the first sequence by applying a modulation symbol corresponding to a value of the UCI1, and applying a orthogonal cover code (OCC) to the modulated first sequence to generate a second sequence; and transmitting the second sequence in at least one symbol position of symbols constituting the PUCCH.
