Abstract: The present disclosure relates to communication methods. In one example method, an access network device and a terminal each determine a format of at least one mini-slot group based on a first subcarrier width used for a first control channel and a second subcarrier width used for a second control channel. The access network device sends first indication information and second indication information to the terminal. The terminal determines, based on the first indication information, a time-domain location of each mini-slot group in which the second control channel is carried, and determines, based on the format of the at least one mini-slot group and the second indication information, a time-domain location of a mini-slot that is in each mini-slot group and in which the second control channel is carried.

Abstract: A candidate control channel resource determining method and apparatus are provided. Under the method, a first and a second aggregation level can be determined by a terminal. The aggregation level is a quantity of control channel resource elements in a candidate control channel. The first aggregation level is less than the second aggregation level. Control channel resource elements in a candidate control channel set corresponding to the second aggregation level form a first quantity of candidate control channel sets corresponding to the first aggregation level. One of the first quantity of candidate control channel sets corresponding to the first aggregation level can be determined as a target set based on an identifier of the terminal. A control channel resource element occupied by each candidate control channel in the target set can be determined. A candidate control channel in the target set can be detected for a received signal.

Abstract: A data transmission method and an apparatus are provided. In this solution, one contention resource group may be divided into a plurality of terminal device groups, and terminal devices with a same DMRS may exist in two different terminal device groups. Even when terminal devices with a same DMRS exist in two different terminal device groups, interference can still be avoided. Therefore, according to embodiments of the present invention, a quantity of connected terminal devices in one contention resource group is increased while good communication quality is obtained.
