In addition the use of the second silver salt for increasing the sensitivity of a photothermographic recording material is provided.

A light-sensitive silver halide photographic element has also been described which has been made highly sensitive by chemically sensitizing a silver halide emulsion which has been made highly sensitive by the method described hereinbefore.
