摘要: An optical scanning device includes a coupling optical system, a light source including a plurality of light emitting units for emitting light beams, and a deflector including a deflecting surface for deflecting the light beams. The coupling optical system is arranged on an optical path between the light source and the deflector so that the light beams enter the deflector at an angle with respect to a normal direction of the deflecting surface in a sub-scanning direction. The light emitting units are arranged two-dimensionally, and a distance between two light emitting units at opposite ends in a main scanning direction is smaller than a distance between two light emitting units at opposite ends in the sub-scanning direction.

摘要: A coupling lens arranged on an optical path of an optical beam from a VCSEL, which has a refraction plane and a diffraction plane that respectively change a power according to a temperature change and suppresses a beam-waist position change in a main-scanning direction and a sub-scanning directions on the scanning surface caused by the temperature change, by a wavelength change of the optical beam caused by power changes of the refraction plane and the diffraction plane and the temperature change. A deflecting unit deflects the optical beam that passed through the coupling lens. A scanning optical system condenses a deflected optical beam on the scanning surface.

摘要: An electric power steering system is provided which is capable of providing a favorable steering feeling without using compensation logics such as of inertia compensation and friction compensation. The electric power steering system includes road-noise suppression control means (213) for controlling a steering assist motor (9) in a manner to damp torque transmission in a higher frequency region representing road noises than a frequency region representing road information. A friction value of a steering mechanism (A) is decreased enough to allow the intrinsic vibrations of the steering mechanism (A) to appear. Rotor inertia of the steering assist motor (9) is set to a value small enough to allow the frequencies of the intrinsic vibrations to be present in the frequency region where the torque transmission is damped by the road-noise suppression control means (213).

摘要: A motor controller judges whether or not a duty cycle of a PWM control signal, which is used to open and close a switching element on a power supply line to a motor, is in a current detection permission region. When the duty cycle is in the current detection permission region, an impedance is determined in time series via a calculation based on a predetermined relationship between a current, a terminal voltage, a speed electromotive force, and an impedance of a coil constituting an armature winding, and the output of the motor is controlled so as to reduce the deviation between a current target value and a value corresponding to a detected current. When the duty cycle is not in the current detection permission region, the output of the motor is controlled so as to reduce the deviation between the current target value and a value corresponding to a current determined via a calculation based on the latest determined impedance.

摘要: A light scanning apparatus that scans a scanned face with a light beam includes an adjusting unit that adjusts the position of a light spot of the light beam formed on the scanned face, and a compensating unit that compensates the light intensity of the light beam at the scanned face due to change caused by the adjustment of the position of the light spot. Accordingly, the light scanning apparatus can reduce or eliminate the deviation in exposure between scan lines of the multi-beam scan method and the deviation in exposure between photosensitive bodies of the tandem type image forming apparatus.
