    摘要: A set of color developers for use in multi-color electrophotography comprises (a) a yellow developer, (b) a magenta developer, (c) a cyan developer, and (d) a black developer, in which the viscoelasticity (tan.delta..sup.1) of each of the yellow developer, the magenta developer and the cyan developer is smaller than the viscoelasticity (tan.delta..sup.2) of the black developer at a storage modulus (G'(.omega.)) of 10.sup.5 dyn/cm.sup.2. This set of color developers is particularly suitable for use with a digital multi-color electrophotography.

    摘要: Dies for extruding honeycomb structures are disclosed, which comprise wear resistant alloy plates, a die base body having a coefficient of thermal expansion different from that of the wear resistant alloy plates, forming channels having a sectional shape conforming to that of honeycomb structural bodies to be extruded and a given depth from a front face of the die toward a rear face thereof, and a plurality of opening holes independently formed from the die near face toward the die front face and communicating with the forming channels. The die base body and the wear resistant alloy plates are bonded together such that the forming channels may communicate with the opening holes. A method for producing such dies is also disclosed, which is characterized in that slits are preliminarily formed in one of machined faces of the die base before the wear resistive alloy plates are bonded to the die base portion, and are located at a predetermined width in an arrangement conforming to the forming channels.

    摘要: An extruding die for forming finned ceramic honeycomb structures includes extruding forming grooves for extruding a ceramic material therethrough and a plurality of material supply apertures for supplying the ceramic material into the extruding die. The extruding forming grooves open at a front surface of the extruding die and intersect with each other in the form of a mesh corresponding to a sectional configuration of a ceramic honeycomb structure. The material supply apertures open at a rear surface of the extruding die and communicate with the extruding forming grooves at intersecting zones thereof. The extruding die comprises fin forming grooves branched from the extruding forming grooves for forming fins, and the material supply apertures communicate with at least parts of the fin forming grooves. In extruding a ceramic material with this extruding die to form a ceramic honeycomb structure, it is easily formed uniform in density in its entirety including fins, thereby completely preventing the fins from falling off during extruding and preventing cracks from occurring in drying or firing.

    摘要: Carrier particles are disclosed for use in a two-component dry-type developer for developing latent electrostatic images to visible images, for use in electrophotography, electrostatic recording methods and electrostatic printing methods, which carrier particles are coated with a silicone resin coating layer having high resistance to abrasion and the so-called "spent phenomenon" while in use, and which therefore can be used repeatedly for a long period of time, yielding developed images with high quality. The high resistance to abrasion of the silicone resin coating layer is attained by adding to the silicone coating layer, as an inorganic fortifying agent against abrasion, silicon carbide or potassium titanate.
