    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device, such as a UE or base station, may identify a rate matching resource set for a transmission time interval (TTI) of a shared channel, where the rate matching resource set includes a set of symbols of the TTI allocated for rate matching. In some cases, the wireless device may identify a rate matching configuration for the rate matching resource set based at least in part on a multi-TTI grant for the shared channel, and perform rate matching of a set of data for transmission via the TTI based on the rate matching resource set and the rate matching configuration. In some cases, the wireless device may transmit, or receive, the rate-matched set of data via the one or more TTIs, in accordance with the multi-TTI grant, based on communications with another wireless device.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating in a communication medium are provided. A first wireless communication device communicates with a second wireless communication device, a first scheduling grant. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, a second scheduling grant including at least one of a start slot index (SSI) or a slot format indicator (SFI). The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, an uplink communication signal based on the first scheduling grant and the second scheduling grant.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for multiplexing code block group (CBG) level and transport block (TB) level feedback are described. An example method includes receiving a set of TBs, generating a bit sequence providing CBG-level feedback on a first subset of the TBs and TB-level feedback on at least a second subset of the TBs, and transmitting the bit sequence. Another example method includes transmitting a set of TBs, receiving a bit sequence providing CBG-level feedback on a first subset of the TBs and TB-level feedback on at least a second subset of the TBs, and retransmitting at least one CBG for each TB in the first subset of TBs and the second subset of TBs based at least in part on the bit sequence.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for applying rules to determine when to retune radio components of a user equipment (UE). Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a UE. The method includes determining first resources assigned to the UE in a first subframe and second resources assigned to the UE for uplink transmissions in a second subframe. The method further includes determining whether to retune radio frequency (RF) circuitry prior to transmitting in the second subframe based on at least one rule involving an overlap between the first resources and second resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine a control resource set configuration for transmissions using a single carrier waveform. The control resource set configuration may include one or more pilot regions and one or more control channel regions. The UE may monitor one or more of the pilot signal regions to identify pilot signals based at least in part on the control resource set configuration, and decode one or more control signals in the control channel regions based at least in part on the pilot signals. The control signals may be included in a control channel region associated with the pilot signal region or in a shared control channel region.
