摘要： A process cartridge detachable from an electrophotographic image forming apparatus includes an electrophotographic photosensitive member, a cleaning frame member, a developer bearing member, a development frame member, a flexible sheet member, and a protection member. The electrophotographic photosensitive member forms an electrostatic latent image. The cleaning frame member supports the electrophotographic photosensitive member. The developer bearing member develops the electrostatic latent image using a developer. The development frame member supports the developer bearing member. The flexible sheet member is fixed onto a seating surface with one end side thereof and contacts the developer bearing member with the other end thereof, for preventing leaking of a developer from between the developer bearing member and the development frame member. The protection member is attached to the cleaning frame member, for protecting the electrophotographic photosensitive member. The protection member includes a pressing portion at the back side of the seating surface, for suppressing deformation of the seating surface.

摘要： A process cartridge is detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus and which is transportable in a state of being mounted to the main assembly of the apparatus. The cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive member, a developing roller for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the member with a developer, a developer accommodating portion accommodating the developer and having a developer supply opening for permitting passage of the developer to supply the developer to the roller, a sealing member unsealably sealing the opening and a grip member, provided on the sealing member, for being gripped to unseal the opening when the sealing member is removed from the opening. The grip member is movable between a first position where the cartridge can move to a predetermined position in the main assembly to permit transportation of the cartridge when mounted to the main assembly, and a second position where the cartridge is prevented from moving to the predetermined position from the first position when the cartridge is dismounted from the predetermined position.

The contact position between the electroconductive members moves in interrelation with the projection being moved toward the hole by rotation of the driving rotatable member when the projection is engaged with the hole.
