摘要: A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer usable program code for content prediction. Differences between a sample set of cells and a target set of cells are compared to identify a pattern based on regular expression analysis. A preview of content prediction changes is presented for a user selection. Content predictions changes are made to the user selection in response to receiving a preview acceptance accepting the preview.

摘要: The invention described is a new and useful process for minimizing the overall rebate a provider disburses to customers when a service level agreement (SLA) breach occurs in a utility computing environment. Specifically, the process compares performance data and resource usage with the SLAs of the customers, and reallocates shared resources to those customers who represent a lesser penalty to the provider in the event of an SLA breach. The process determines which resources, used by customers representing the lesser penalty, are operating below peak capacity. The process then reallocates these under-utilized resources to those customers requiring additional resources to meet SLA thresholds. If all resources are operating at peak capacity, the process reallocates the resources to those customers whose SLAs represent a greater penalty in the event of an SLA breach as compared to those customers whose SLAs provide for a lesser penalty, thereby minimizing the total rebate due upon an SLA breach.

摘要: A method for allowing remote operation of an instant messaging session is provided. A remote instant messaging client is selected from a list of remote instant messaging clients. User input, indicating an instant messaging command to be executed on the selected remote instant messaging client, is received. A request that includes the instant messaging command to be executed is sent to the selected remote instant messaging client. A message indicating receipt of the request by the selected remote instant messaging client is received from the selected remote instant messaging client.

摘要: An encrypting system to protect digital data and a method thereof are disclosed. During dispatching files to receivers, a compiler is used to add a file key on out-going file to form the first encrypted electronic text and to retrieve file abstract, and then the first encrypted electronic text is encrypted again with a public key to form the second encrypted electronic text which is stored into a database of a server. The file abstract as well as the file key is also encrypted by the public key before being sent to the receivers. The receivers then decrypt the encrypted file by the public key to obtain the original file abstract with which the receivers get the download permission from the server to download the second encrypted electronic text. The receivers then download and decrypt the second encrypted electronic text by the public key into the first encrypted electronic text which is then opened by the compiler by means of the file key to meet the purpose of protecting digital data.

摘要: A Segment Interface Program (SIP) is disclosed that enables a user to choose locations in other applications to receive segments, and to mark segments for manual or automatic transmission to those applications. The SIP comprises an Application Interface Program (AIP), a Segment Creator Program (SCP), a Segment Queue Program (SQP), and a Segment Delivery Program (SDP). The SIP accesses a Rules database, a codes database, and a queue database. The AIP enables a user to select a location in an application and assign an application code and a location code to the location. The SCP enables a user to select a segment in a chat transcript, assign an application code and a location code to the segment, and send the segment to the SQP. The SQP receives the segment, assigns a queue number, and places the segment in a queue table. The SDP reads the user code, the application code and, when the application is active, sends the segment to the location in the application with the corresponding code. A single segment may be inserted into an application in multiple locations by creating additional codes for multiple instances of a location.

摘要: A table converter is disclosed that enables a user to convert any table, or portion of a table, displayed on a web page to a spreadsheet control embedded in the webpage. The table converter is a web browser plug-in or feature comprising a table analysis program (TAP); a table conversion program (TCP), a spreadsheet configuration program (SCP), a spreadsheet modificaton program (SMP), a configurable table engine (CTE), and a configurable table template (CTT). The CTE contains a rules database. The TAP interrogates the highlighted hypertext markup language (HTML) table structure , , and tags, and text for delimiters. The TCP maps the table headings and data to a configurable table engine (CTE). The CTE inserts the headings and data into a configurable table template (CTT), and displays the CTT on the web page at a user configurable location. The SCP enables a user to automate the process, to add or subtract columns or rows from the table, and to add calculation functions. Automation options include both locating and converting a table displayed on a web page.
